When I wrote about Bill and Amy’s engagement session I told you a lot about their house. While their house is interesting (and really awesome and I would totally move in if they need an adopted daughter), it’s certainly not the most memorable thing about them. What I really wanted to tell you about is how I’m in awe of their relationship. This is a second marriage for both of them. I can’t imagine the emotional toll it takes to go through a divorce and we never talked about that with Bill and Amy. What we did talk about is how they came together and just knew it was the perfect fit. They honestly didn’t even have to say it. You can tell by the way they move around each other, the way they look at each other, the comfort and ease is apparent. Whatever happened in their past lives were just bumps in the road that led them to each other. All of this was confirmed by their wedding celebration. From the intimate ceremony to the heartfelt toasts, their family and friends didn’t just show up for a wedding. These important people came together to affirm that Bill and Amy are truly meant to be together and to celebrate that very fact.
