Traditional? We laugh in the face of traditional! Every once in a while we get a few wild hair ideas for a more conceptual type of engagement session and send out the option to all of our current clients to get involved. Rob & Stephanie completely jumped on the idea of a backyard wet-n-wild themed shoot. The first 4 shots were the images I had in mind and after that it is total organic awesomeness that they rocked out. It was truly a blast. Enjoy.

We love variety in our shoots but Chris & Morgan really brought the personality heat! I think I saw the full gamut of loving to serious, goofy, fierce, maybe even a few I haven’t seen before. They were truely a blast to shoot and we can’t wait for the wedding. Enjoy.

When I do pretty much everything I can to cut down blog images from a single wedding and the post is still almost twice as big as I’ve ever done I think that words can’t do it much justice. Just know that almost everything with Tommy & Julie’s wedding epic. Julie is epically beautiful (Tommy’s not bad either), the day was epically hot, and it had to be good because we epically love wine… and wineries. Oh yeah, this is another St. Louis wedding, the other side of the state is keeping us busy this year. Enjoy.

We obviously see a lot of toasts – some good, some bad. arely do either of us have to write one. But on October 2, I’ll be handed the microphone and expected to say a few words about my best friend and her new husband. I’m telling you this because I sit almost at a loss for words and I’m only writing their engagement blog post!

Christine has been one of my best friends since college. We were in the same pledge class and forged the kind of deep bond you’re looking for when you join a sorority. I have always been amazed by her generosity to her friends, her intelligence and her fun-loving attitiude. She epitomizes class. Oh and she loves boating! In fact, that’s how she met Brett. In him she found someone who loves to have a good time, loves her and also loves to boat. And as they say, the rest his history. They spend their days graciously entertaining friends on their boat. They love thier life and they love to share it with others. Here’s a peek at two of my favorite St. Louis people.

Christine and Brett – We are so excited to attend your wedding as guests! Don’t be surprised when I’m first in line for cake (instead of last) and Aaron is first in line for a drink (instead of abstaining at the bar). It’s going to be a blast – but that’s no surprise when you’re involved. We love you.
