We joined Derek, Kim and their families on a gorgeous Friday in October to celebrate their wedding in Shawnee. It had been awhile since we met with Derek and Kim but we instantly liked them again! We spent some time shooting around the church before a gorgeous ceremony in the round! Then we crossed the street for a great reception at Shawnee Town Hall.

The front of the church had some fantastic archetecture and a wide patio – perfect for some pictures!

Kim chanced the freshly cut grass to work a light pole.

I don’t know what it is about our fall weddings this year – they all have phenomenal flowers!

Tony at Event Designers and Catering is one of our favorite people to see at a wedding. His food is phenomenal to photograph and eat! He takes a great deal of pride in every aspect and personally ensures things are perfect for the bride and groom. This was no exception.

Derek produced the most fantastic pre-garter removal dance known to man. If this were an art form he would be Picasso. His freestylin moves went on and on - and round and round his confused bride – before he got down to business.
