One word comes to mind when I think of Blaine and Anna’s wedding: Modelesque. Their engagement session produced some fabulous images, but we had no idea we were in for an explosion of awesome on their wedding day!

Kaylin contacted us for some fun family pictures after seeing our booth at a bridal show. (She does event planning for the Spa Tuascano). We were happy to oblige! Her husband, Shayne, their daughter, Ava, and even the dog, Macy, braved a cool day in November to play on the grounds of the Nelson-Atkins Museum.

Duke and Jessica are two of the most genuine people we’ve met. It’s apprent in the way Jessica glowed in her wedding dress; it’s apparent in the tears that streamed down Duke’s face during the ceremony; and we hope it’s apparent in their pictures. We had a fantastic time tooling around Kansas City with their wedding party, which included a special maid of honor – Jessica’s daughter, Emily. We shot my friend Sarah’s wedding as the LAST wedding of the season! She’s been waiting and waiting to be on our blog and be “famous”. It’s not quite her turn (in fact she hasn’t even seen her pictures yet) but I thought I’d give her a little teaser.

Tony and Amy’s wedding at the Loose Mansion was a celebration of two people finding their one true love. Cheesy I know, but I call it how I see it. When you see them together it’s clear that it was meant to be. Their fun loving outlooks and laid back attitudes are a perfect match. We joined Derek, Kim and their families on a gorgeous Friday in October to celebrate their wedding in Shawnee. It had been awhile since we met with Derek and Kim but we instantly liked them again! We spent some time shooting around the church before a gorgeous ceremony in the round! Then we crossed the street for a great reception at Shawnee Town Hall.
