John & Sheila were really just a great experience and story for us. I got a call from Samantha’s mother Amy in early May saying that her boss needed to get married ASAP and they wanted to come by and talk. It didn’t take long to figure out that we would love working with Sheila. Basically she’s been living in the US for school and work and just happened to fall in love with John at the same time. When they found out her green card wasn’t going to be renewed they just had to push the wedding a little sooner, as in less then a month!

In the end John just wanted Sheila to be happy so she and Amy set off to plan the best last-minute wedding they could. I have to say they did a pretty good job. Everything was wonderful, and Sheila simply glowed from the moment we saw her.

The wedding and reception were at the beautiful Simpson House, just perfect for them. This has to be one of my favorites of the year so far. Wait… didn’t I say that about their teaser?

Okay, it’s still one of my favorites.

Check that reflection! Awesome!

Okay so these pictures I feel a little bad about. This was the awesome jazz band from the reception, they asked me to take a few pictures of them but I lost their card… yikes. If you see them around let me know so we can hook them up!

Looking back through our last months wedding posts I realized I’ve been so busy that I haven’t been showing candids or details. So here is a few yummy details. The catering was done by Inspired Occasions and was perfect! Such a good group of caterers.

Samantha actually designed all the paper pieces for them, everything looked amazing.
