This was simply a beautiful wedding. A wonderful fusion of American & Indian culture kept us gasping the whole day. Wonderfully warm & inviting people & plenty of activity (including a traditional dancer) made this a terrific experience for both of us.

This shoot was lots of fun for me, we don’t really get a lot of requests for countryish shoots. Unfortunatly for me the joy turned to frustration when I realized I didn’t know of any place in the OP/Olathe area that was rustic. Luckily after a few phone calls and driving around we found some pretty cool spots. Def worth the effort!

Another crazy weekend in the books. We just wanted to share a little.

Friday was Michael & Ashley, just a reception because they ran to Mexico for the wedding. We still got to take a few fun shots before though.

Saturday was Chris & Beth. It was just good to see them again, they moved to NY after their engagement session last summer.

Last but not least was Jarrod & Kerrie for their e-session on Sunday. A story about the train will come with the rest of the pictures!

Like I said a while back I really want to start showing more of Matt’s work. He is just so freaking awesome and we are really lucky to have him with us! This is one of his last e-sessions and I just thought it turned out great.

So this wedding post will be a little different. We always want our couples to have as much fun and be as comfortable with us as possible. That being said as I started to work through Aaron & Annie’s pictures I think we may have taken it a little too far. I’ve never seen so many crazy expressions from a couple in one shoot! They are just so much fun I had to share, I hope you laugh as much as I do when I look at them.

So most of you know by now that I’m a little behind in processing pictures this year. I’m sorry but starting to get caught up albeit slowly. We have wonderful couples that are just dying to see a sampling so I put together some teasers of the events that aren’t quite finished yet. Yes there are quite a few but I love how they all turned out. This is something I’m going to try and keep doing so watch for all the new awesome images that I’ll be churning out.

I also want to give a big rave to the boutwell’s totally rad actions. I use actions (sorry for all who don’t know, it’s photoshop jargon) heavily to help keep our look somewhat consistent and was introduced to these amazing sets while I was at the shootshop. They just released an all new set and they are rockin! We’ll see what you all think but I think it fits seamlessly with our style.

James & Karla, the second double header wedding. I love dogs in weddings, at least we got to take her pink dress off for this shot… yes you read it right don’t keep looking back.

Duke & Jessica’s e-session from today. Bringing Emily along was only fitting and it was hard to keep her from stealing the show. Soooooo much fun.
