Chuck and Beth’s wedding

Chuck and Beth’s wedding really represented their relationship. It was elegant without being showy, deeply emotional without any drama, and backed by the love of family and friends. Simple, true, deep – and without further ado…

Venue – The Little Theater

Day of Coordinator – You’re Invited

String Quartet – Moment Musical

DJ – Marc O’Leary

Chuck and Beth - Thank you for allowing us to be part of your day. You are two of the most down to earth people we know and that’s truly a joy to be around. And thank you for following us into dirty alleys and city planters – we hope you think it was all worth it.

- Aaron and Heather

Justin & Lacey

So what happens when I have a huge blog post before touching Heather’s pictures? I huger blog post! We were so excited for Justin & Lacey’s e-session. Especially because of this super amazing abandoned farmstead that we found on a little excursion to Lexington, MO over the winter. When we found out their wedding was going to be in Lexington all the little hairs stood up and we knew that we had to shoot there.

So anyone who watches our work knows we have a certain affinity for…. um… dilapidated locations. I must say that the house that we shot in was one of the worst. All I can say is that you don’t want to know what we were walking in. So big props are in order for the outstanding Justin & Lacey for putting up with our odd requests. Enjoy!

Andrew & Laura

As a photographer there is really nothing we like to capture more than the unique dynamic that every couple has. For some couples it comes out in the subtle nuances, but for others it just pours out. Andrew & Laura are definitely the later. So incredibly fun and easy to shoot. I honestly don’t need to say much, who they are together is so apparent in the pictures. Enjoy.

Josh & Andrea’s Wedding

I can’t believe it’s June and I’m just now starting to blog weddings. Sorry, we’ve just been shooting so much other stuff that I hadn’t gotten around to it. Don’t worry, there’s plenty more coming!

I have to say that I was excited about this wedding since Andrea first called. I’ve known Andrea all my life, we litteraly grew up together, her dad was in my parent’s wedding… you get the idea. I even worked with Josh back in high school at HyVee (glamorous right). I really do love these guys and that’s all I’m going to say. Since it’s the first wedding post in a while there are quite a few pics to get you going… enjoy!

Not even a wedding can get in the way of the NFL draft, even I was checking it out throught the corner of my eye.

Katrina >model boudoir<

Meet Katrina, another fabulous model that took advantage of our boudoir weekend. Actually I’ve known her since high-school when we sang in choir together… that’s right. We had a model cancel on us last minute and she jumped on the chance to join in.

These shower pics gave us an awesome story. The tub was leaking and we didn’t know it. It caused the ceiling in the restaurant below us to flood and dropped ceiling tiles during dinner. Oops.

Ashley >model boudoir<

We’re still trickling in some pics from our boudoir weekend last month, so here’s a few more. We asked a few ladies to do a couple model sessions for samples, strange how most people want these session private huh? Anyway, Ashley jumped on the opportunity to add to her portfolio and not get dragged in to some creepy guy’s basement! You may remember her from our play shoot a couple months ago. As usual she rocked, I hope you enjoy. There’s still a couple more posts from our weekend coming so keep an eye out.
